Karnataka government tightens rules for weddings, public congregations amid surge in COVID-19 cases https://ift.tt/eA8V8J

Amid the surge in COVID-19 cases, the BS Yediyurappa-led Karnataka government has banned large gatherings at public functions and wedding ceremonies across the state. As per the earlier guideline, over 500 people were allowed to attend social events including weddings and 100 for other congregations in closed spaces while maintaining social distancing protocols.
